Recent news:01-Sept-2009: Hi All. Registration for all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Ventures will take place at 7.00pm on Monday 7th September 2009. A parents or guardian for all youth members will need to attend and registration fees can also be paid at this time. 6th April 2009: No Cub meeting Monday April 6th or Monday April 13th 11-Mar-2009: Hi All. Please take a moment to remember one of the greats in scouting in our county. It is with great sadness that i must announce that, one of scouting’s greatest is gone to her rest. Earlier this evening, Martee McCaffrey passed away. Martee was involved in scouting for over 30 years and served as a cub leader, Beaver leader and Group leader of 1st Galway (St Josephs). Martee would be more fondly remembered in her role as a trainer and served in the position of Assistant Commissioner for training in the former CBSI/CSI and as County Training Co-ordinator for the County until her retirement two years ago.
