Upcoming Events:12-Nov-2011: The Scout Shop will be in Renmore Scout Den this Saturday from midday until 3pm. They will be selling all beavers, cubs, scouts, ventures and rovers uniforms. For more details on price etc please see http://www.thescoutshop.ie/ Oct/Nov: Thurs 27th Oct: Fancy Dress Halloween party in den. Thurs 3rd Nov: Mid-term break, no Beavers. Thurs 10th Nov: Investiture - will need uniforms (plain light blue sweatshirt and navy tracksuit bottoms) DECEMBER 23/24 Bag packing in Dunnes Briarhill Sun 23-Oct 2011: CAKE SALE: 10:30am-2pm Sunday. Cakes and/or donations can be dropped to the scout den on Saturday 22nd between 5 and 7pm, or on Sunday from 9:30am onwards. Fun, games and delicious cakes and buns for all! See you all there! Uniforms for sale: Do you have a uniform that you no longer use? If so, send it to your child's next meeting. Put the clean uniform into a plastic bag and clearly mark it with your name, contact number, the contents and how much you wish to sell them for. If you would like to purchase a second hand uniform, please talk to your child's leader. December 23/24 2011: Wonderful news!! Renmore scouts have been given the go-ahead to assist with BAG PACKING IN DUNNES STORES, Briarhill on DEC 23rd and CHRISTMAS EVE (their busiest days of the year!!!). With the help of the Scouts & Ventures - and parents of Cubs, Beavers & Scouts - this should be a fantastic opportunity to help with the funds we in Renmore Scouting so badly need. Come along and offer your help and support on these days. It's a lot more fun than you'd think!! 09-Sept-2009: Hi All. WE'RE BACK!!! First meeting of the year will be on Thursday 17th September. See you all there. 01-Sept-2009: Hi All. Registration for all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Ventures will take place at 7.00pm on Monday 7th September 2009. A parents or guardian for all youth members will need to attend and registration fees can also be paid at this time. 29th-Sept-2008: The A.G.M. will be held on Monday the 29th of September from 7-8pm in the Scout den. No Beaver meetings will take place until after this meeting due to a shortage of Beaver Leaders. This is why it is essential that all parents and anyone interested in helping out as a leader or member of the Parents and Friends Committee attend this meeting. 11-Sept-2008: Registration for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Ventures will take place in the den on Monday night the 15th of September. See you all there. 07-June-2008: We will be taking part in this years Beveree day on 7th of June. It is being held in Portumna. The Cost is €6 per Beaver and we will be leaving at 11.00am Sharp. We hope to return again at 4:30pm. It will be a great day for all the Beavers. More details will be handed out at next week meeting
